    Greece 2012 46'
    Directed by: Georgios Michael Panteleakis
“When I shot these things I did not want to do a documentary, I had my own camera for my personal use. After being a witness to these events, I knew I had to.” (G. Panteleakis). Athens, 28 and 29 June 2011: while in Parliament are voting on the austerity measures imposed by Europe, Syntagma Square burst into flame. The film transmits to us the sense of excitement, anger and fear stemming from the opposition to government views, derived from the world ‘crisis’.

  • JA ARRIBA EL TEMPS DE REMENAR LES CIRERES
It’s Time to Shake the Cherries

    Spain 2012 11'
    Directed by: Jorge Tur Moltó
The events of the Indignados views from the edges, which seems also an unsaid. Police and demonstrators talk to each other, and escape from each other. The windows smashed at the Barcelona Stock Exchange is a picture of Pollok. Eclectic and deeply metaphorical, as the movement that is observing, the film take the for granted and focuses on the actions of few protagonists. Photographers photographing photographers, video cameras filming cameras: what are they trying to make happen?
