In Texas, seventeen-year-old Sarah, born into a family of farmers with a fervently religious mother, spends her days doing the house chores along with her sisters. When she meets Colby, a boy of the same age, she is prompted to re-think her future. With this film, Minervini gained international acclaim, honing his personal filmmaking practice.
