Czech Dream documents the largest consumer hoax the Czech Republic has ever seen. Filip Remunda and Vit Klusak, two of Eastern Europe‘s most promising young documentary filmmakers, set out to explore the psychological and manipulative powers of consumerism by creating an ad campaign for something that didn’t exist.
THE VIDEOLIBRARY OF THE FESTIVAL DEI POPOLI
The Mediateca Regionale Toscana will host in its library the videolibrary of the Festival dei Popoli, where, for festival accredited and members of MRT, there will be the possibility of viewing the documentaries presented during the Festival, but also a selection of titles suggested by the selection committee.
The videolibrary will be open from November 2nd to 7th, from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Besides the documentaries of Festival dei Popoli 2009, the titles from the Mediateca Archives will be available.
COLLABORATION WITH THE SCUOLA DI CINEMA ANNA MAGNANI
Festival dei Popoli is glad to announce a new partnership: starting from this festival edition, the students of the Stage in Documentary Cinema, organized by the school and held by the director Federico Micali, will participate to the Festival dei Popoli for the documentation of this year edition.
